The Canadian smartphone maker now is also running monthly installment schemes for some of its other popular smartphones.

In the recent few months, we have seen leading smartphones to adopt aggressive marketing plans to promote their devices. In the month of March, Apple had launched a cash back scheme for its iPhone 4. The scheme became so popular that it helped the company in registering over 400 percent growth in India. Currently Samsung is running a Rs. 10,000 cash back scheme on purchase of Galaxy Note II. BlackBerry, on its part, is yet to announce any such buy back scheme said Gupta.
